About Green Growth Remover
What do we mean by green growth? Algae, lichen, and any kind of green staining you get outdoors.
Use it to remove these outdoor stains from a house or conservatory roof, fences, garden decking, paths or driveway tarmac, stone walls, and pretty much anything else that gets stained outside.
Our products are made with a concentrated formula that can be diluted with water according to the severity of the green staining:
- 2.5L Bottle: A concentrated formula that dilutes to make 15 litres.
- 5L Bottle: Same formula as the 2.5L, but larger, dilutes to make 30 litres.
Once applied, not only does the product remove algae, but it will also help to prolong algae regrowth.

It is safe to use on all types of wood, stone, concrete, bricks, metal, plastic, slate and tiles.
Green Growth Remover Coverage and Shelf Life
2.5L Bottle: Dilutes to make 15 litres.
5L Bottle: Dilutes to make 30 litres.
4 x 5L Bottles: Dilutes to make 120 litres
Once open, use within three years.
Green Growth Remover Instructions
- Do not use if rain is forecast within 24 hours.
- Apply when the surface is dry. It will not work in wet conditions.
- Use a sprayer to get the best coverage possible.
- If using in summer, apply late in the evening so the sun doesn’t evaporate it.
Dilute the product with water using the following ratios:

| Hard to Remove Growth | 100ml product : 150ml water | 100ml product : 150ml water |
For general use, just apply the product to the stained area, and wait five days for it to work. Typically there is no need to do anything, the green staining will just disappear! The only exception is with lichens, you’ll need to wait up to three months for it to remove them!
Used as an Algae Remover
Brush away any loose dirt or debris and then spray the product over the algae so it becomes wet, using either a watering can or sprayer (do not use a sprayer on a windy day). If you’re using it to remove algae from fences or walls, then you’re best using a sprayer to apply it.
Within five days, any green staining and algae will disappear.
