Green Growth Remover Instructions

• Do not use if rain is forecast within 24 hours.
• Apply when the surface is dry. It will not work in wet conditions.
• Use a sprayer to get the best coverage possible.
• If using in summer, apply late in the evening so the sun doesn’t evaporate it.

Dilute the product with water using the following ratios:

For extremely stubborn, or hard to remove moss, you can create a strength as concentrated as 25:1.

For general use, just apply the product to the stained area, and wait five days for it to work. Typically there is no need to do anything, the green staining will just disappear! The only exception is with lichens, you’ll need to wait up to three months for it to remove them!

Used as an Algae Remover

Brush away any loose dirt or debris and then spray the product over the algae so it becomes wet, using either a watering can or sprayer (do not use a sprayer on a windy day). If you’re using it to remove algae from fences or walls, then you’re best using a sprayer to apply it.

Within five days, any green staining and algae will disappear.

Used as Moss Remover

Moss is difficult to remove and grows where you don’t want it! Use the Green Growth Remover to remove moss from roofs, tarmac, driveways and more.

Do not use a pressure washer to remover moss. Whilst it will work, it will also damage the surface causing splinters in wood, tarmac to crumble, and would be dangerous to use on a roof!

To remove moss from any surface you must first ensure that:

1. The surface is dry. It will still kill moss of the surface is damp, but the drier the better.
2. That no rain is forecast within at least 24 hours. The longer it is dry after, the better.
3. That you completely saturate the moss when applying the product.

Firstly, brush away any loose moss or debris. The more you can remove manually the better.

Spray the product over the surface so it becomes wet, using either a watering can or sprayer (do not use a sprayer on a windy day).

Within five days moss will turn brown and die. At this stage, brush as much of it off as possible, and do so before it rains (if possible). If you’re removing moss from a roof, the moss will slowly fall off as it starts to detach from the roof and the wind blows it off (this can take several weeks).
