Furniture Clinic North East are an exciting growing family business and we’re looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who's competent, and takes great pride in their work.

The successful applicant must be highly motivated, have an eye for detail, have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a busy environment as part of a team, or on their own.

The successful applicant must have a sound background knowledge working in the soft furnishings industry, with both fabrics and leather. Experience working within contract upholstery, and car trimming would also be beneficial, but not essential.

Hours of work will be Monday – Friday 0800 – 1615 (37.5hr working week).

Overtime is often available as well as work on Saturday’s. This will be paid at time and a half.

Rate of pay is dependent upon experience/skill level which could in time increase up to, and beyond £35,000 per annum basic with overtime on top.

Holidays are 20 days per year, plus statutory holidays. We have holiday bonus scheme in place for long serving employees. Our employees receive an additional 2 days holiday for every 5 years worked in the business. We will also enrol you into our company pension scheme.
