Grain Copier Set
A special mould designed to take an imprint of the leathers grain pattern, creating invisible repairs.
- Replicate the grain of any leather
- Used to emboss the grain into the Leather & Vinyl Weld
Grain Copier is a two part silicone used for making Grain Pads. These pads are used to enhance your repairs by embossing your repaired area with the exact grain, allowing repairs to blend in seamlessly.
This product is available in a set, so you can make your own graining pads, or as a pre-grained pad.
Grain Copier Set
The product comes in two bottles: Base & Hardener. When mixed together the hardener activates the base causing it to set like rubber. When this mixture is poured onto the leather, and sets, it takes an imprint of the leathers grain pattern. This mould is what we call a Grain Pad.
As leather has so many different grain effects, purchasing the set allows you to replicate the grain for every repair.
Grain Pad (ready made)
Choosing the most common grain found on leather, we have pre-grained these pads for you, meaning it is ready to simply be embossed onto your repair.

Q. Does this work on all fillers you sell?
A. Yes, although it works best with our Leather & Vinyl Weld. To use it on other filers is trickier and so for them we recommend the Grain Repair.
Q. What is the difference between Grain Coper Set and Grain Repair?
A. The Grain Copier Set, or Grain Pad, replicates the grain of the leather, and is used to emboss the filler, replicating the grain pattern. Whereas the Grain Repair is a thick liquid, where your ‘draw’ the grain onto the repaired area, re-creating the same grain from the surrounding areas.
