How to Use Our Applicator Sponges

1. Clean the Surface (if needed)
Before applying any treatment product, ensure the leather surface is clean and free of dirt. We recommend using our Leather Ultra Clean - a powerful, water-based cleaner that’s safe for all leather types. It removes ingrained dirt and grime without damaging or altering the leather finish.

2. Apply Product to the Sponge
Squeeze a small amount of your chosen product onto the microfibre terry towel side of the sponge. Our Applicator Sponges work perfectly with a range of treatments, including:

• Leather Recolouring Balm

• Leather Protection Cream

• Our full range of cleaners

3. Apply to the Leather or Surface
Use gentle, even strokes or small circular motions to work the product into the surface. The sponge’s absorbent core holds the product while the soft microfibre surface ensures even, streak-free application without scratching.

4. Reapply as Necessary
For larger areas, apply more product to the sponge as needed and continue in sections to ensure consistent coverage.

5. Let It Dry
Follow the specific drying times and instructions for the product you’re using. Some may require a second coat or buffing after drying.

6. Wash and Reuse
After use, rinse the sponge thoroughly in warm water and mild soap. Squeeze out excess water and let it air dry. The sponges are washable and reusable - perfect for long-term use.
