Our Cutting/Chopping Board Oil is the perfect choice for protecting, maintaining and restoring wooden kitchen items including cutting boards, butcher blocks, wooden spoons and more.

Regular application will prevent cutting boards from becoming dry, cracked and brittle. Forming a protective barrier, cutting board oil will also prevent liquid from penetrating the surface, working to reduce the proliferation of germs and bacteria.

Our chopping board oil is food-grade, making it perfect for use on items used for food preparation. The oil will never spoil, unlike many alternative treatments. The pure mineral oil penetrates the wood, providing protection, retaining and enhancing the wood's natural colour and character, while also prolonging the lifespan of your wooden kitchen boards, blocks and utensils.

Suitable For

Completely safe to use, our specialist cutting board oil is perfect for use on all types of wood and bamboo, including:

  • Chopping boards

Coverage & Shelf Life

250ml will cover approximately 20sq meters.

500ml will cover approximately 40sq meters.

Once open, use within 3 years.

Quick and easy to use, just follow these instructions for great results every time.

Step 1:

Ensure the surface is clean and dry before use

Step 2:

Apply the Cutting Board Oil liberally and evenly over the board using a clean cloth and leave any excess to soak in overnight.

Step 3:

Once dry, buff the board using a clean cloth. Repeat the process until you can drip a drop of water onto the wood and it beads up on the surface and does not soak in. This is how to tell if the wood is completely protected.

Re-apply once a month or as necessary when you see that water is once again starting to be absorbed into the wood.
