About Leather Cleaner
Leather Ultra Clean is formulated for use as a general leather cleaner and is suitable for use on all leathers.
This unique leather cleaning solution contains no solvents or abrasives, allowing it to clean leather safely without causing any damage, yet it is still capable of removing deeply ingrained dirt and grime. Leather Ultra Clean is an effective and powerful water-based leather cleaner making it ideal for cleaning light coloured leathers that show the dirt most, but can still be used on all colours of leather safely.
As a general guide, we recommend cleaning your leather four times a year so 500ml would last about two to three years when cleaning a leather suite.
The leather cleaner was initially made as a leather furniture cleaner, but has since won many awards for cleaning leather car seats and was even awarded 'best leather cleaner' award by Classic Monthly magazine.
Leather Ultra Clean is Suitable For
Our leather cleaner can be used on all different articles of leather, from furniture and car seats to leather jackets, shoes, handbags and even equestrian leathers. It is particularly effective when used to clean leather that has become very dirty and needs a deep clean. It works on all colours of leather and all different grain types.

Leather Ultra Clean Coverage and Shelf Life
500ml of Leather Ultra Clean is enough to:
Clean a three piece suite 5-6 times.
Clean a large car interior 9-10 times.
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Store between 8°C and 30°C.
Once opened, use within 3 years.

How to use Leather Cleaner
Below we show you how to clean a leather sofa using our leather cleaner, but the same instructions apply for leather car seats, leather jackets, bags and all other items of leather.
Cleaning leather is quite a simple process; this is one the of the advantages of leather over other materials. Despite it being easy to clean leather, it is very important that you maintain a regular cleaning regime using leather cleaner. This is because dirt on the surface can cause abrasions on the leather, which if left untreated can slowly develop into cracks or colour loss.
Our Leather Cleaner will quickly, easily and safely remove all dirt from the surface of leather, helping to reduce the chances of your leather becoming damaged.

Apply Leather Cleaner to a spongeShake the bottle to mix together the various leather cleaning agents. Wet a sponge with water and squeeze the excess out. Pour the leather cleaner into the sponge and squeeze several times to create a foam. Rub into the leather to remove the dirt. Our Leather Cleaning Brush can be used to reach dirt deep within the grain. You can also use our Foaming Bottle to create a foam. |

Clean the LeatherAs the leather is cleaned, the dirt will be absorbed by the foam created by the leather cleaner. Wipe this foam away using an absorbent cloth. The action of cleaning leather with a foam makes it safer and easier than regular wet cleaning. |

After using Leather CleanerAfter cleaning the leather, we recommend that you condition and protect it. Use the Leather Protection Cream for best results. Regular maintenance using our Leather Cleaner and Protection Cream will help keep all items of leather looking their best. |

Our Leather Cleaner can also be used to clean car seats; the same instructions as above apply for cleaning leather car seats, and all other items of leather.

Cleaning Leather FAQ
Q. Is the Leather Cleaner safe to use on all types of leather?
A. Yes, it is specially made for use on leather and so will not cause any damage. It can be used on natural and delicate leathers such as aniline and waxed/ oiled pull-up too.
Q. Can the Leather Cleaner be used on cream leather?
A. Yes, it can be used on any colour of leather. It is excellent on light colours that show dirt easily. Use a soft Leather Cleaning Brush or sponge to clean deep into the leather grain.
Q. Will the Leather Cleaner remove colour from my leather?
A. No - it contains no solvents or abrasives and so is perfectly safe to use. It's a water-based formula so is also safe to the skin.
Q. My leather is aniline, is it safe to use?
A. Yes. Our Leather Cleaner can be used on natural leathers such as aniline and pull-ups. Here is a full list of leather types it can be used on:
- Pigmented (also known as top coated or corrected grain)
- Full aniline and semi-aniline
- Bicast
- Oily or waxy pull-up
- Two-tone pigmented
- Rub-off/ antique finished leather
- Vinyl and faux leather, including bonded leather
Q. I also have leather in my car, can it be used on that?
A. Yes, Leather Ultra Clean can be used on all articles of leather: furniture, car interiors, clothes, shoes, equine leather and many more.
Q. The door cards in my car are vinyl, can it be used on them?
A. Yes. It can be used on any imitation leather such as vinyl, plastics and PU.
Q. I do not like the idea of using a liquid on my leather, is it safe?
A. Very safe. In fact, it is the best way to clean leather! You can also create a foam with the Leather Ultra Clean to make cleaning easier. This makes for ideal cleaning conditions as foam is a more effective way of cleaning. To create a foam, agitate the leather cleaner in a sponge and squeeze several times.
Q. Will the Leather Cleaner remove ink or other stains from my leather?
A. There's a good chance it will, but this depends upon what type of leather it is, how long the stain has been there and what type of stain etc. For a guaranteed product, use on of our leather stain remover products.
Q. Is the Leather Cleaner safe to use on suede or nubuck leather items?
A. No, all other types of leathers are fine, but for suede and nubuck items you should use our specialist Suede & Nubuck Cleaner as these types of leather are a little more delicate.
Q. Can it be used to clean a leather jacket?
A. Yes, it is an excellent leather jacket cleaner. It can be used to clean all types of leather, so whatever leather is used on your jacket, it will be safe to use to clean it.
