Bring your black leather steering wheel back to life in just a few simple steps.

Step 1: Clean and Prepare

  • Wipe the wheel with Leather Cleaner and leave it to dry.
  • Lightly sand any rough or damaged areas with 320-grit sandpaper.
  • Remove grease and dirt using the Microfibre Cloth with Steering Wheel Degreaser.
  • Finish by wiping the surface with Prep Pads and leave it to dry.

Step 2: Repair the Leather

  • Apply Leather Binder to worn areas using the small sponge in light coats.
  • Leave to dry, then lightly sand with 1200-grit sandpaper.
  • Wipe away dust with a damp cloth.
  • Repeat until the surface feels smooth.

Step 3: Restore the Colour

  • Dab on Base Colour with a sponge, building up light coats gradually.
  • Allow each coat to dry before adding the next.
  • Continue until the wheel is evenly coloured.

Aftercare

  • The wheel can be used after 3 hours, but full curing takes 7 days.
  • Protect the finish with Leather Protection Cream to prevent future wear.
