After a break of two to three years thanks to Covid, we were pleased to start running our Open Days again last month. The Open Days currently take place at either our head office factory in County Durham or at our training facility in Birmingham and the day focuses on leather repair.
They are free to attend and give customers a feel for who we are as a company and an overview of how to use our products. They are targeted at professional users but are open to anyone, particularly those thinking about starting up a leather repair business.
The day starts with an introduction to Furniture Clinic and, in County Durham, a factory tour with an opportunity to see our products being made and meet the team. Open Days in Birmingham include a video tour of our premises so that you can get an idea of what we do and how big the factory is.
As the day moves on, we go through our main leather repair products and services, and the different stages of leather repair. We explain and demonstrate what you should use for what, we give advice on techniques for use, and we show you what results you will get. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas throughout the day and we’ll send you home with a goody bag full of useful samples.
Participants our January and February Open Days said how useful it was to exchange experiences and the sessions acted as a “good refresher”; and, if you are not ready to commit to a full training course, then an Open Day is a good taster of what we can do for you.
