Bob Spiers, from Furniture Clinic South Beds, was asked by BBC Three Counties to inspect a listener's sofa.
The listener, Steven Crisp, had noticed damage on his new sofa but was told by the manufacturer that it was unable to be repaired. When Bob inspected it himself, he determined that an unknown spillage had caused the leather surface to corrupt, exposing the base colour of the sofa, however he could fix the damage.
After speaking on the show with presenter Jonathan Vernon-Smith, Bob kindly offered to the repair the sofa free of charge.
As you can see from the photos below, the repair looks great and best of all, Stephen is extremely pleased.
He said: “Thank you for the work you have done. My sofa has been repaired to a very high standard and I cannot thank you enough from both myself and my partner.”
