Burn hole to rear seat in clients car. With auto material it is always difficult to get an exact match. With this repair we removed the cover and created a stitch line that removed the burn hole. As you can see this looks like it was designed this way.
We restored this Chesterfield to full glory by replacing the seat foams firstly then making new leather covers for all the seats. we then carried out colour restoration and cosmetic repairs to the remainder of the suite.

Replaced panels on arm fronts, colour restoration to 3 seat cushions. This was a tricky one as there is a black tick on top of the green base colour. We managed to re-create the pattern identical.
<p>Worn bolster on a black leather car seat restored to a new condition.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This is a photograph of the drivers back bolster from a Vauxhall Calibra.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We simply prepped and alcohol the effected area, used a palm sander to take any roughness away, applied about 10 thin layers of Leather Binder re coloured and lacquered.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The customer couldn’t believe how good it came out when he collected the car.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This BMW 320ci came in with the usual wear to the drivers bolster. We firstly matched the colour. Repaired the damage using the Leather Binder and the Leather Flexi Fill, sanding smooth before applying the colour and finish.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This was just a small tear at first but over time developed into a large rip. We decided to replace the panel as the damage was so bad. We took out the seat box first, then the staples which fixed the leather into place, unpicked the stitching to get the damaged piece out, and replaced it with a new piece of leather - colour and grain matched to the existing suite.</p>
We changed the colour of this Chloe handbag from Cream to Brown, the results were amazing!

We were asked by our client to fully recover the interior of his much loved Austin Healey to include piping as an extra feature.
We we asked to repair the damaged section of vinyl to the centre console.
We were asked to restore these 2 front seats from an Aston Martin DB7 to their former glory.
The patch of colour loss on the before picture was caused by a glade air freshener that was dropped on the leather. It caused the top colour to come away.
We degreased the areas 1st with our liquid degreaser then carefully airbrushed the top colour back onto the leather to create an invisible repair.
Recoloured front facing areas. We had to match 3 colours on this armchair.
Once coloured we finished in a gloss lacquer.
This is a two tone leather sofa. As you can see there is colour loss on most of the panels. We matched 3 colours and applied new pigment to the worn areas.

Customers pet cat vomited on the arm of his armchair. We striped and prepared the area, matched 3 colours and finished in satin.
<p>The photographs show some old seats from a Lotus.</p><p>We restored them to near new. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This arm worn down through normal everyday use. To repair it we preped/alcohol cleaned the leather degreased then re coloured and re lacquered.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This Queen Anne chair came in with a vary badly damaged arm. There was no need to match the colour hear as the antique brown is a standard colour we have so we repaired the holes/scuffing and re antiqued the arm.</p>
<p>This Jaguar XK8 came in with scuffing and colour loss to the drivers bolster. We colour matched the leather, repaired the damage and sprayed the colour and lacquer on to match.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This two tone back rest cushion came in to us with a large area of the top coat rubbed off. Upon further inspection we realized there was grease in the leather.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We prepared the leather using the leather prep and alcohol cleaners. Next we used the leather degreaser which extracts the grease from the leather. The reason we need to extract the grease first is if we were to just re-spray the colour onto the area effected the grease in the leather would prevent the colour from sticking properly.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Once the leather was degreased we matched the colour, re sprayed and re-lacquered to make the repair look invisible. </p>

We recently carried out panel replacements and colour restoration to this tired corner suite, taking it back to it's former glory.
We were asked by a client if we were able to improve the look of this old trunk which was found in a house they had purchased. As this was very old and rather fragile the cleaning process on this was very slow and time consuming and also limited to what we would do. However I am sure you will agree the transformation is very good and we also were able to find out a bit about the history of the case for our client.
We restored this outer back bolster in our workshop for a very happy client.
Our client needed some restortion work to the 3 seater and then a full clean on both sofas. As you can see the difference during the cleaning process is clearly visable resulting in a very happy customer.
We were to make some new panels and carry out cosmetic repairs to bring these seats back to their former glory.

We de-greased the arm areas which had been contaminated with natural oils. Once de-greased we cosmetically repaired the cracking to the arms. We colour matched the leather and airbrushed the colourant back onto the leather to create a smooth finish.

Fully re-coloured this armchair, also as you can see there is a bad scuff on the arm we repaired.

<p>Retrimming work we carried out on an Alvis Motor car in the Spring of 2010.</p><p>As you can see from the photograp we gave the leather a new lease of life. </p>
<p>BMW 3 Series Convertible.</p><p>As you can see from the before image the seat was in need of a bit TLC.</p><p>We simply started by giving the seat a good old clean, followed by colour restoration.</p><p>The customer was delighted with the results! </p>
<p>This customer brought this BMW Z3 in for repairs before he sold it.</p><p>As you can see from the photograph the repairs are invisible. </p>
This photograph shows the before and after of a Toms handbag we colour changed from baby blue to clay.
As you can see the results were amazing.
<p class="MsoNormal">This a photograph shows bolster wear on the drivers seat in a Mazda RX8.</p><p class="MsoNormal">First of all we colour matched the leather by eye, preppered and alcoholed the leather, applied around 3 thin layers of Leather Binder followed by 2 thin layers of Flexi Fill, sanded smooth and air brushed on the colour then the lacquer.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Last we applied a healthy layer of protection cream.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This BWM M Sport has scuffing to the drivers inside bolster. We colour matched the leather, prepared and alcohol cleaned the leather, repaired the scuffing/cracking before applying the pigment and lacquer. This type of damage has probably occurred from the owners jeans catching the bolster whilst getting in and out of the car.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This Mercedes CLK 320 came in with colour loss to the back seat caused by a child’s car seat. She thought we would have replace the leather so when I told her it could be repaired she was delighted!</p><p class="MsoNormal">What made our job a little trickier was the fact her brother had tried to paint it himself using poster paints.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We used the prep to remove the paint. Matched the colour exactly and re-sprayed the areas of damage, we then sprayed a semi-matt finish over the repairs to seal our colour.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Last of all we applied a layer of protection cream to the seats to help stop that sort of damage re occurring as quick.</p>
This Bentley Continental GT came in with a worn bolster. We repaired and coloured the bolster to make it look new again.
This Jaguar XK drivers seat was well past its best. The customer couldn’t believe how well it came out!

Repadded seat base, replaced some torn panels on the rhf arm and Lhf seat then fully recoloured suite.
Deep clean re-colour and finished in satin laquer.
There was alot of dye transfer and cracking on the seat cushions and arms. We re-coloured and re-padded all the areas.
This armchair was close to a south facing window, as you can see in the before picture the colour had fadded badly. We matched a colour from a small section underneath and re-coloured.
Repaired rip in leather using various fillers, colour matched the leather on site then applied colourant and lacquer to suit.
The images above show the before/after shots of a Mercedes we recently repaired, the damage consisted of 4 small holes, deep scuffing and colour loss.

<p class="MsoNormal">This again is a prime example of the wear you get on a drivers seat bolster, this is a Golf Gti, the customer actually thought that the leather was unrepairable and that it needed new leather. So when we told him he didn’t he was delighted.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We match the colour, striped the existing lacquer and colour off, repaired the scuffing and re-coloured and sealed the leather.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This customers dog had ripped one of the diamonds quite badly, we were unable to cosmetically repair leather due to the extent of the damage.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Our upholsterer managed to take out the damaged diamond and put new leather in.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The before picture shows the new leather in place with the matched base colour already on, this should always be applied before putting the new leather in.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The after picture shows the finished article where the top coat has been applied.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This BMW 1 Series has scuffing to the drivers inside bolster. We colour matched the leather, prepared and alcohol cleaned the leather, repaired the scuffing/cracking before applying the pigment and lacquer.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This customer brought this jacket to us thinking nothing could be done to save it. We cosmetically repaired it to near invisible.</p>
This chair came in with severe colour loss. We prepped/ alcohol cleaned/ sanded then re sprayed to its original condition.
The above car seat is from a Rover P5. We changed the colour from a light cream to red. This was done to match the rest of an interior.
We restored the colour green to these MG Y car seats, and then re-coloured the piping in cream. It takes a bit longer to do, but contrasting piping really sets the seats off.
Client had bought a cover for the rear seat of his taxi. Clients customers could not find the seat belt insert. We fitted some fly's to the belt covers and secured the cover correctly.
We were asked if we could change this reception seating to match the company's new green coloured logo.
A leather suite upholstered in fabric
We cosmetically repaired the outer back bolster on this BMW.
This clients piece of furniture was stained by her grandchildren's chocolate covered sticky fingers.
We cleaned the stain and extracted the loose chocolate out of the fabric using our cleaner and spotter, we then applied a generous coating of fabric protector to the fabric to help prevent against future staining.
We were asked to renovate this steering wheel. As you will see the result was very good.

<p>Seat Cushion</p><p>This photograph shows colour loss on the front of this cushion caused by a hot drink spillage.</p><p>We recoloured it, and as you can see from the photographs you'd never know. </p>
<p>Pub Seating Recovery</p><p>We totally recovered all the seating in a pub round the corner from us, heres just a couple of photographs. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This Porsche Boxter came in to have the seam sewn up. When we took a closer look we realized the side panel would need to be changed.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We stripped the seat down unpicked the panel, matched the leather and coloured it to match the rest of the car.</p>
The leather has become very badly faded and scuffed over the years. Our customer requested the leather to be restored so that it kept an aged look. To achieve this we cleaned the leatehr first with the leather ultra clean, then restored the colour with a medium brown re-colouring balm, and then sealed and protected the leather by applying to generous coats of leather protection cream.
<p>Aftershave was spilt on this jacket removing the colour. We matched the existing colour and restored it to new!</p>
We re-padded all the seating including the pouffee and fully deep cleaned.
Removed cat scratches on the front of this seat cushion.
This shows the before/afters of a pendragon suite we cleaned repaired and protected.
We restored the 2 front seats from this beautiful Ferrari 456, to make the job as best possible we removed the seats from the car. We also removed the centre pieces from the seats so we could get into the hard to reach areas.
The photographs show some deep scuffing to the bolster on this Lexus seat.
What made it a little more tricky was the fact another company had tried to repair it and failed. They had used super glue which is a big no no as it make the leather hard and brittle.
However, we managed to get past that and as you can see the repair looks really good.
<p class="MsoNormal">The pouffe cushion was brought it to us by a customer who had spilt oil on it, once we had prepared the leather with the prep and alcohol cleaners we decontaminated the leather using the leather degreaser, its important to do this on any leather you suspect is contaminated with oil as the colour wont stick properly. Once the leather was decontaminated we then matched two colours as it was a two tone leather and applied the two pigments which retained its mottled effect.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The chesterfield in this photograph simply needed the seating cushion Dacron wrapped.</p><p class="MsoNormal">This is done by removing the cover from the cushion and wrapping it in the Dacron. This basically adds firmness to the seat cushion. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This MG seat had very deep scuffing to the drivers bolster. We matched the colour, filled the damage, re sprayed and re lacquered to cover the damage. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This car came in with a split seam. Our upholsterer Craig hand sewed it without the need to take off the seat cover saving a lot of time and money.</p>

We carried out panel replacements to the arms. We then conducted a colour restoration to the rest of the armchair.
Removed grease from the head area, matched colour and finished.
<p class="MsoNormal">This Alfa came in with damage to the stitching. We managed to hand sew the seam using 2 curved slipping needles to make it look as good as new. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">These antique chairs were brought in to us to be restored. The customer didn’t want them recovered as he wanted to keep them original.</p><p class="MsoNormal">As you can see from the before photograph they were pretty beaten up.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The first thing we had to do was match the colours. As you can see the chairs have a mottled effect, so we needed to match both the base and top colours. To match the base colour we had to rub an area of the top colour off to show the base colour underneath.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Once the colours were matched we proceeded to repair the seats, we used the heavy filler and light filler to fill the cracked leather.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Last we re sprayed the seats using the two colours to produce a two tone effect and finished it with a semi matt finish. </p>
We de-greased and then carried out colour restoration to this sofa.
We were asked to recover these trike seats but were also asked if we could have the artwork from the trike copied onto the trim also.

We recovered this very old interior seating for a caravan which was getting fully restored.

We were able to remove the damaged spring and replace it with a new one.

We recovered all the bar seating areas in new fabric at The Collage of St Hild & St Bede in Durham City.
This is another BMW this time a Z4 with the usual drivers bolster damage.
<p class="MsoNormal">This Jaguar XJ6 came in with the usual wear to the drivers inside bolster, we repaired the damage using the Leather Binder, re coloured and lacquered to match.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This Range Rover came in with general wear and tear also there was quite a lot of dye transfer on the seats from dark clothing. Unfortunately you can’t actually see the damage that well from the photograph. We restored the front 2 seats, repaired a few small clicks in the back seats to bring the seats up like new. The customer couldn’t believe how well they had come out.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We took this Pendragon suite in with quite a large surface cut. We prepared the cushion using leather prep and alcohol cleaner. Next we applied a thin layer of heavy filler to the cut, just bringing it level with the surface of the leather. We colour matched the cushion then sprayed and lacquered to make it look new again.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Finally for added protection we applied a coat of our leather protection cream.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This customer thought her suite was ruined. We went out to her home to assess the damage. Upon arrival we knew straight away that the lacquer protecting the pigment was peeling off.</p><p class="MsoNormal">We stripped the lacquer off using leather prep and re applied a semi gloss finish to match in with the rest of the suite.</p><p class="MsoNormal">The customer was so pleased when we were finished!! </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">During transit the arm on the sofa had something heavy resting on it. We took the arm off, unpicked the staples from the bottom and re padded it using blown fiber.</p>
This customer bought this Stressless Chair second hand. He sent it to us and we changed it to a colour he preferred.
