Replacement Arms

BEFORE
AFTER
Both arms were badly contaminated. We replaced with new leather, colour matching and blending in well.

Ble Seat Restoration

BEFORE
AFTER
The seat panels had been repaired by someone else before and they hadn't done a very good job.
We took the sofas away, thoroughly cleaned, re-sewed the seat section on an industrial sewing machine, re-coloured and lacquered and finished off with protection cream.
Customer was extremely pleased with the outcome and service.

Refill Cushions

BEFORE
AFTER
Take out the seat box on both sofas, applied bolster foam to the seats and add fibre to the arms and backs

Candle Oil Stain

BEFORE
AFTER
We restored the colour to this suite. Candle oil had caused the damage.

CHESTERFIELD RESTORATION

BEFORE
AFTER
This is a bit of an awkward one because the damage is often caused by the leather absorbing oils from the hands. I'm afraid the cost of restoration reflects that but it is well worth it as you can see from the finished photo.

In the 'before' picture the arm has cracked due to the leather absorbing oils from the hands and elbow. This needs extracting before it can have the colour restored. In just the same way a greasy kitchen wall won't take new paint, so it is with leather, but it is not a matter of just getting the sugar soap out to clean it down as with a wall. Leather absorbs oil like a sponge deep inside it. We deep clean the leather and use several applications of extracting gels to draw out the oil. When that shows the all clear we then repair the leather and re-colour it.
