This project was made difficult as the seats were of different colours to begin with. There was also a lot of restoration work as the leather on both seats had deteriorated leaving the surface fragmented and cracked. We completely stripped all the finish off both seats and using flexible fillers and leather binder produced a smooth finish. We then matched the colour to the rest of the interior of the car. As the car was over 20 years old this was important to retain its authenticity. The results were excellent.
This Jaguar XJ6 came in with the usual wear to the drivers inside bolster, we repaired the damage using the Leather Binder, re coloured and lacquered to match.
This Range Rover came in with general wear and tear also there was quite a lot of dye transfer on the seats from dark clothing. Unfortunately you can’t actually see the damage that well from the photograph. We restored the front 2 seats, repaired a few small clicks in the back seats to bring the seats up like new. The customer couldn’t believe how well they had come out.
