These seats were from a 1954 MG td totally orginal, they had been stored in a working garage for years and were contaminated with oils. After extensive degreasing and some restoration work, we recoloured them back to there original colour.
The cost of all this work was still 50% the price of buying a new set, and more importantly for the customer the car retains its originality adding to its value.
This Harley Davidson seat was recoloured to tan, we also recoloured the bike bags to match.
This a photograph shows bolster wear on the drivers seat in a Mazda RX8.
First of all we colour matched the leather by eye, preppered and alcoholed the leather, applied around 3 thin layers of Leather Binder followed by 2 thin layers of Flexi Fill, sanded smooth and air brushed on the colour then the lacquer.
Last we applied a healthy layer of protection cream.
This BWM M Sport has scuffing to the drivers inside bolster. We colour matched the leather, prepared and alcohol cleaned the leather, repaired the scuffing/cracking before applying the pigment and lacquer. This type of damage has probably occurred from the owners jeans catching the bolster whilst getting in and out of the car.
