The sensation of driving with the roof down after a day cooped up inside a stuffy office is unbeatable. Exploring the sights and smells of the air on a mild evening is something us Brits relish. In fact our love affair with the convertible car outweighs the French, Spanish and Italian, (would you believe we purchase six times more soft tops than the Spanish?).
Even though fabric roofs are becoming ever more advanced - with the increasing prevalence of folding hardtops and electronically powered hoods – they still fight a daily battle with the elements and can suffer from fading and colour loss over time.
Furniture Clinic's Convertible Roof Restoration Kit is a brand new package containing everything you will need to restore a convertible roof including FabriCoat, an innovative products which can restore or change the colour on most types of car roofs. The kit comes in a selection of standard colours, but in addition Furniture Clinic's team of specialist technicians can match any colour for those with more specific needs, providing a uniquely tailored product available in an unlimited range of colours. The kit contains Fabric Cleaner and Spotter and a Tampico brush to clean the roof thoroughly. There's a specialist Mould Remover to ensure all mould is removed prior to colouring. You will get a full litre of FabriCoat and 500ml of Penetrating Solution for you to mix as desired, and a sponge and cloth for a neat and fuss-free application. A Fabric Protector is also included for after care which will help prolong the roof's life and prevent future staining.
You don't have to worry about the colour cracking or fading with FabriCoat, as once it's applied, it will last for years, or until you wish to change the colour. If your roof doesn't need to be restored and you simply fancy a change, it's incredibly easy to transform the colour of any soft top roof in a few simple steps.
