TOUCH UP KIT (Q&A)

Question:

Hi there,
I got a pen stain on a leather sofa, unfortunately I had no idea about leather stuff at all and ended up trying nail polish remover on it. It seems like little bit of the top layer dye got dissolved off. (Looks similar to the scuffs repair video on this website.) The size is around 3cm, not so big. I'm going to try using Leather Touch Up Kit.

The questions are

1. Is it the right kit to use? do I need to get pen stain remover as well?

2.
The colour is similar to this, should I get ivory or cream?

Answer:

Hi There

The touch up kit is perfect for colouring over the little area you have described. However the seat in the tutorial you refer to is black.

Ivory is off white, where as cream is a little darker and more yellow.

I hope this helps.
