Furniture Clinic History
Furniture Clinic was established in 2004 to provide leather cleaning, repair & restoration products to the public and is based on the knowledge and experience of Keith Staerck (Managing Director) who has over 18 years experience in the industry.
Since the initial launch Furniture Clinic has gone from strength to strength to become the fastest growing company in the leather industry. The success of Furniture Clinic is based on superior products and support to their customers, and, as the only company manufacturing these products in the UK, everything can be priced extremely competitively, allowing Furniture Clinic to work for some of the largest and most successful companies in the Furniture & Automotive industries.
In May 2007 Furniture Clinic launched their first Franchise operation to cover the leather cleaning, repair & restoration demands of the local market - Gateshead. With immediate success and continued growth they have chosen to make this opportunity available to the wider area and are offering an attractive franchise package for the whole of the United Kingdom.

Not only is the market enormous, but Furniture Clinic are rapidly becoming a very well recognised brand with dominance of the internet with top placed rankings on many search engines, in addition to a very aggressive advertising campaign, which covers the internet, magazines, newspapers and most importantly - word of mouth & recommendations.
Because of this Furniture Clinic have been able to secure many large furniture retailers as customers who retail their leather care kits. This gives the customer immediate introduction to the Furniture Clinic name when they purchase a suite and so, will be their first port of call when it needs cleaned, repaired or restored.
Concept
Furniture Clinic are offering a van based leather repair franchise, which is operated from home, keeping start up costs at a minimum. The initial two week training programme teaches a franchisee all the theory, skill & marketing of how to successfully run and operate a Furniture Clinic franchise. The technical training is very hands on and gives you the opportunity to go out on the road and work with leather in a commercial environment. If you are not 100% confident after the initial 2 week training course, you are welcome to stay with us longer to get a better grasp of what is involved.
