Applications

The solvent colourants are best suited for repairing colour loss and damage to a leather surface. The advantage of solvent based products is their ability to attack and adhere to a leather surface without the prior need to thoroughly prepare the surface. The solvents we use evaporate extremely quickly and so the wet drying time of the colourant is only seconds, it will be dry to the touch and thoroughly set in roughly 5 minutes. |

Leather Prep & Alcohol Cleaner
Clean the leather down with these two products before applying colour. The cleaning process removes dirt, grease, oils, waxes and silicones that unless removed could prevent adhesion.
Leather Finish SB
Use this after applying the colourant to seal in and protect the colour. Applying a finish further protects your repair making it last much longer. You can use either PU or SB finish on top of the SB colourant.

This ensures that every time you order a colour from us, weather it is a standard colour or matched, that it is 100% accurate and representative of the previous colour. All colours are saved into a database, which we can create a unique one for your company and your colours so you can re-order the same colour again and again. |

Instructions are available to teach you how to mix and adjust common colours and our colour matching department can be contacted by phone or e-mail for additional support. Also available is Matting Agent SB that you can use to adjust the gloss level of the colourants. |
