Club Sofa Restore

Club Sofa Restore1234257426~club-sofa-b.jpg Club Sofa Restore1234257437~club-sofa-a.jpg
This is a Club sofa that the owner had had for nearly 10 years and wanted it recoloured to a light tan. After inspecting the sofa I advised the owner that it was in need of a restore as it had some deep cracking. To do this I had to take it back to my workshop where I stripped the sofa back to the bare leather using the leather Prep and filled in the cracks and smoothed off the creases. A base coat was applied by hand and then the top coat colour was sprayed on. When  this had dried and settled I applied 3 coats of PU Satin Leather finish. This was left to 'cure' for 3 days after which I gave it a generous coating of Leather Protection cream to achieve a supple finish. When I returned it the owner was amazed at the transformation and was extremely pleased with the result and is now looking forward to many more years of comfortable use.
